Target Valentine's Clearance Haul

TARGET V-DAY CLEARANCE

If you're like me then you might have more then one child in school. Starting next year, 3 of my 4 kids will be in school and when it comes to the various parties that the classroom has it can get quite 

expensive fast! That's why I always try and buy after the items go on clearance. I try and hold out to 

at least 70%. But if I see items going super quick I'll settle for 50%. Here are some items I was able 

to snatch at my local Target today at a whopping 70% off!!!.

As most know classroom sizes are getting bigger and bigger. You can no longer just buy 1 box of cards and call it a day. You're now forced to buy two. That why I was so excited to see that there were plenty of cards left in stock. Just to give you an idea, it would have cost me $22 to buy these 6 boxes. $22 for pieces of paper that will only be thrown out the very next day!!! But instead I only paid $6.60.

My store also had marked 50% off all One Spot items with the black star (as seen in pic above). But when I rang them up it showed they were actually 70% off!

So these tissues only cost .30¢

Yuzen Spring 2015 Box

Yuzen Spring 2015 Box Review


Yuzen is a quarterly beauty box sub that focuses on bringing you products that are eco-friendly, natural, and organic. I always think of it as getting a little spa of goodies in a box. It has to be hands down my favorite beauty box sub around. You can tell that they put a lot of work into curating these boxes for each quarter.





It cost $33 for each quarterly box. And believe me it is well worth it. Pretty right!?





Each box comes with a card detailing each product. They even go as far as to tell you why they chose the product.





Acure Organics Lip Lush in the color DAAANG! - Retail Value $7.99
This is a FULL SIZE! product and the color is what I would call a dark plum. I love that it's made without parabens, petroleum, sulfates, formaldehyde, or GMOs. However the color isn't to my taste so I'll be throwing this into my gift pile.






Chocolove 1.3 oz Chocolate Bar in Toffee & Almonds in Milk Chocolate - Retail Value $1.50
They have had this brand of chocolate in their boxes before and I really have enjoyed every chocolate I have received so far. There are no GMOs and it's a certified kosher product. They have 24 unique flavors to choose from. Which one would you like to try?





Co-Pur Hand Balm in Lavender Lime - Retail Value $8.00
This is a first for me. I have never seen any hand balm in a stick form before. It definitely has the lavender scent, which I love, but only a hint of lime. Their entire line of products are handmade here in the USA! I love American made products. What is also great is that it's made without parabens, petroleum, or sulfates. In fact there are only 6 ingredients in this hand balm: coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, lavender oil, & lime oil. Oh, and this is a FULL SIZE!





Nubian Heritage Honey & Black Seed 24hr All Natural Deodorant - Retail Value $7.99
This FULL SIZE deodorant has to be on of the best smelling deodorants I have ever smelt. It makes me want to wrap myself in its smelly goodness. One of the issues I have noticed from other natural deodorants, is that they don't seem to hold up very well. They either melt very easily or in general break apart rather easily. But they seem to have figured out the magic formula for it not to do so. It's already rather warm here in AZ and the box sat in my mail box all day. When I realized that there was a deodorant in there I was bummed because I was certain that it was gonna be melted down. And much to my surprise it wasn't! What is also great is that it's made without parabens, petroleum, sulfates, or artificial colors/fragrances. Can't wait to see if it'll be able to handle the AZ heat.





Innerness Organic Beauty Pure Harmony Hairbath & Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner
 - Retail Value about $4.00

These sample size hair products are made without parabens, petroleum, sulfates, or artificial colors/fragrances. It also has no GMOs. I was looking for a nice little extra item to put into my daughter's teacher's V-day gift and this was the perfect little item to give.





Spa Ritual Nail Lacquer in Love is in the Air - Retail Value about $3.60
This cute little nail polish sample is perfect for Valentine's Day or Spring in general. It is a bright pink crème color that has wonderful coverage. I first heard about this brand through Yuzen and they have some of the best polishes around. What is great about their products is that they are toluene, camphor, & formaldehyde free. They are naturally colored and are free of synthetic dyes.





Spa Technologies Micro Pearl Dermabrasion - Retail Value about $5
I love that they gave us a good amount to try out. It has an ever so slight peppermint smell. Better suited for a winter box then a spring box in my opinion. But nevertheless I'm excited to try it out. It is made without parabens, GMOs, petroleum, sulfates, or formaldehyde.





YURRKU Australia Utopia Night Cream - Retail Value $16
I love getting night creams since they seem to hardly pop up in subs. Plenty of day and eye creams. I mean I have more then I can count. This is only the 2nd night cream I have received. And I was due for some more. So this was really great to receive. This decadent moisturizer is great for all skin types. It is GMO, paraben, petroleum, and sulfate free. And it is also made without synthetic fragrances. 




The overall retail value of this box was about $54. An excellent value even though there were a couple of products that I will not be using. But those products will make great gifts.
